A Sample Litigation Win
In a standout example of a real estate dispute I handled, I represented a landlord who argued that its property was not subject to Oakland’s rent control ordinance. The case went through several phases, including an administrative hearing and decision, an appeal to a superior court, and an appeal. My client and I prevailed at every step: before the administrative law judge, the Superior Court judge, and the Court of Appeal Justices.
